Exploring the local environment and places of cultural significance was the inspiration for creative activity, storytelling and cultural learning, as well as lively inter-generational, inter-cultural exchanges involving groups of Aboriginal children and Elders and culturally diverse children and community elders in different neighbourhoods of greater Wollongong and Shellharbour, including Mount Warrigal, Lake Illawarra, Cringila and Warrawong.  These activities led to a number of larger inter-cultural, inter-generational creative story-telling exchanges within and across neighbourhoods and places.
